Dear visitors from America,
as I was currently updating our (German) website, I recognized that it is regularly visited by some brave americans coming over St. Peter's Homepage from Lebanon. So I decided to give this site an update, hope you enjoy reading it!
So what's up in our parish?
In 2009, there are the elections for the parish council. This is always an important event for our parish, because there are 16 parishioners elected who will lead and control the community for the next five years. For the parish's staff, this event is always a bit exhausing: finding aspirants, presenting them to the community, organizing the election and a lot more - in addition the the normal work! If you have the heart to, just visit our German Website during the next weeks and have a look at the aspirants' profiles that we will present there.
Something else we are very pround on is our renovated parish hall in Münster. The refurbishment took about 14 months and did cost a lot of money, but we luckily had lots of help by many of our parishioners so we were able to handle all problems. I hope I will have the possibility to show you some photos soon.

In 2004, there was a big happening in our Kirchspiel: The parish's four bands were on open-air-stage in Fauerbach, and we had a great concert till 1 a.m. Unfortunately it was a little cold, but about 400 guests, 20 musicians and lots of helpers created a fabulous mood for this evening.
For this year, we are shure that the weather will be better when we celebrate »Rock uff de Bach Vol. 2«. There will be three groovy bands doing rock, pop, gospel and rockabilly this saturday evening.
So if you are over here by chance or planning a trip to Germany, come along and have a great evening with us.
